Bad Timing

Bloody Foot

It flowed
through the cracks
in the wall
like a river
filling every crevice
pooling
at the corner
a flood
of crimson
from the body
against the wall
terror
still on her face
in her now dead eyes
the cuts
from his machete
were deep
his anger
rage
need to kill
unfathomable
her bad luck
bad timing
to cross his path
that night
